The topic, which I have been working on for the last few years, is closely tied with the Mythology of People of Siberia, which is related with a family history – my grandfather and his family’s exile to Siberia. This tragic event and history have been the impulse for creating these pieces of artwork. One day my grandfather’s family exchanged their whip for a cub, which turned out to be a young wolf. Later the wolf hunted and brought food for my grandfather and his family, thanks to which they managed to survive.
